1 John 2:3–6
We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands. Whoever says, ‘I know him,’ but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.

The invitation is not to admire Jesus, but to walk as He walked. That is a profoundly disruptive distinction.
Walking like Jesus means allowing His daily pattern to confront your own. It exposes the tones you use in conflict, the impatience you justify, the people you avoid because they drain your energy, and the grudges you have rebranded as “boundaries”.
Faith was never meant to remain entirely internal. Transformation is rarely produced through dramatic, spectacular acts of holiness; it is forged in small, unglamorous daily choices:
- Listening when you prefer to speak.
- Forgiving when you want to rehearse the injury.
- Slowing down when you want to rush past someone’s pain.
- Remaining gentle when provoked.
Take your faith out of theory and turn it into motion. Stop asking Jesus to walk with you on your terms, and begin learning to walk with Him on His.
