Ruth 4:9 -10 

Boaz stands before the elders and declares his commitment to redeem Ruth and Naomi. His promise is public, clear, honourable  taken up with joy, not reluctance.

Public commitments show integrity, courage and love. Boaz’s promise isn’t only for Ruth  it’s for the whole community. Redemption here is never a private act; it blesses others simply by being made openly.

  A gentle practice for today:   Ask God to strengthen one commitment you have made.  Lord, help me keep my promises with honour.
