What time do you go to bed and wake up currently?
I love to go to bed at 10. My vocation however means that often I don’t get home until after 10. I can be mid meeting and my reminder to go to bed comes through. My phone knows the rhythm that is best for me.
And my body knows what is best for me. It reacts well to a 10 o’clock bedtime and a 6 am start. And when I don’t I am out of kilter.
My soul finds rest in the Lord. My soul needs that rest. I am under the weather at present I can feel the lack of sleep, the lack of rest affecting every part of my life.
As the illness remains low grade I can function and work but the tiredness is the killer. Managing to be en pointe for a few hours and then collapsing exhausted in a heap before beginning it all again.
