Ruth 4:1 

Boaz goes straight to the town gate, the place where legal matters are settled. He acts promptly, publicly, with integrity. The gate becomes the setting for redemption.

Some decisions need to be made in the open. Some steps call for courage and clarity. Boaz doesn’t delay  he steps into his responsibility with honour, in full view of the community.

  A gentle practice for today:   Ask God for courage to act where action is needed.  Lord, help me walk with clarity and integrity.
