Ruth 3:18 

Ruth waits. She has acted with courage, humility and honour  done everything she can  and now must let Boaz act. This is often the hardest part of faith.

Waiting isn’t inactivity; it’s surrender  trusting God is moving even when we can’t see it. Where Naomi’s waiting yesterday was confident, Ruth’s here is simply patient: two sides of the same trust, held by two different people in the same story.

  A gentle practice for today:   Sit for a moment in stillness.  Lord, help me wait with trust, not fear.
