This week brings the turning point of the whole story. Boaz steps into his role as redeemer. The town gathers, decisions are made publicly, blessings are spoken. Ruth’s future shifts from uncertainty to hope; Naomi’s emptiness begins to fill. The story moves from survival to restoration.

Redemption in Ruth is practical, relational, rooted in community  responsibility, honour and generosity in action. This week invites us to consider how God restores us, brings new beginnings, and weaves hope through the threads of our lives.

    Day 21  A Gift of Grain

  Ruth 3:15 

Before Ruth leaves the threshing floor, Boaz fills her shawl with grain  a gesture of kindness and provision, and a sign to Naomi that he intends to follow through on his promise.

Sometimes God gives small signs of hope: not the full answer, not the completed story, but enough to remind us he is working. A word of encouragement, a moment of clarity, a sense of peace. Naomi sees the grain and reads it rightly  a sign pointing toward something bigger still to come.

  A gentle practice for today:   Ask God to show you one small sign of hope  not a finished story, just a reminder that he is near.
