Ruth 2:12 

Boaz speaks blessing over Ruth, acknowledging her sacrifice, her loyalty, her courage. He prays the Lord will reward her and shelter her under his wings. His words are not empty  they carry weight and honour.

Spoken words matter. They can lift a weary heart, strengthen a tired spirit, remind someone of God’s goodness. Ruth receives Boaz’s blessing with humility, and it becomes part of her healing. Who could use a spoken word of blessing from you today?
