Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.

Purity is not a matter of moral performance; it is the natural fruit of proximity. The closer you remain to Jesus, the more your desires, reactions, and daily habits begin to reflect His character. Purity is not manufactured by willpower, but yielded through proximity.
Sin is not merely the catastrophic mistake; it is also the pattern you tolerate—the harsh tone you excuse, the resentment you nurse, the impatience you justify, and the quiet habits that slowly conform you to your wounds rather than to Christ.
Transformation demands brutal honesty. Stop treating destructive patterns as neutral or assuming change will occur without intentionality. Purity is not about achieving flawless perfection; it is living in a state of continuous surrender.
Allow Jesus to untangle the habits you have grown comfortable with.
