Growth rarely happens through relentless criticism. People mature when they are genuinely seen, named, and reminded of what God has already planted within them. Speaking courage into weary hearts is not cheap flattery—it is essential spiritual formation.
Words carry immense formative power. Countless people around you walk through their days exhausted, discouraged, or convinced they are failing—standing one word away from giving up, or one word away from standing tall. Kindness, compassion, and gentleness are revealed directly through your speech.
Speak to build rather than drain. Restore dignity rather than erode it. Remind others of who they are in Christ rather than defining them by their worst moments.
This requires slowing down, noticing weariness, and finding the courage to speak life when silence would be far easier.
