Anything that we consider antediluvian like typewriters, telephones with leads, pushbikes, and a whole plethora of things we no longer use – we call them dinosaurs.

Yesterday I was visiting my accountant and his Leaving cert daughter had been helping out in the office. She was chatty when I arrived and proceeded to tell me that the printer had been alerting her to a fax.

She recalled thinking “what is a fax?”

I chuckled as we worked our way through a technological minefield of what we have now and what we once had and all the tech in between.

So my dinosaur that I would like to bring back is paper and pen.
