What jobs have you had?
I could not find the work that satisfied my mind and heart. I had quite complex jobs sometimes and other times I had easy service jobs. Never was I content.
My favourite job was dishwasher. When I washed other people’s dishes my mind could wander and make beautiful music, eloquent prose and imagine what a thousand days looks like.
I worked in restaurants, cafes and hospitals. And then I stopped. All jobs started.
I was reset to factory settings and went out becoming an ordained minister. Although there is much in this that is man made and boring. Some of it is being led by God into new missional opportunities which is the most exciting thing I have ever done.
